I was delighted to takeover/contribute to Kairogen's Space-Time series back in Autumn 2021, having enjoyed Kairogen's journey with this project so much beforehand.

I ran with my own interpretation of the concept, an imagined trip to space with all the fear, apprehension, catharsis and eventual bliss I would associate with a journey like this.

This piece takes the form of a semi-improvised hour-long performance that took turns I hadn't expected. Some basic patterns were prepared, some sounds selected but all with the aim of allowing for the most performance freedom and fun across the hour. The only sound source is the Elektron Digitone synthesiser + fx (Chase Bliss Audio MOOD + Hologram Electronics Microcosm). I utilised the Novation Launchpad Pro Mk3 to aid the performance - giving myself a pseudo-mixer via MIDI and 'keyboards' for each track on the Digitone.

I performed a slight edit, only to bring within Bandcamp's file-size limit, which this tested! I believe I've done so tastefully, in a way that doesn't detract from the feel or pacing.
